Salsa Latino Stage Band

Since 1986 this 3 to 6 piece Brisbane Australia based group performs music from Caribbean islands: Cuba, Puerto Rico, & Dominican Republic, & South American Colombia, Brazil.

Salsa, or Cuban “Son”, with the percussive syncopated rhythmic “tumbou” of the conga, Spanish words, & the fire of the trumpets, Combined with popular dance rhythms, Cha Cha Cha, Mambo, Merengue, & cool romantic bosa nova, bolero makes the balanced repertoire of Latino Salsa band.

Caribbean Pirates Band

Roving / strolling / walk act: Caribbean pirates Calypso Roving band on wheels are an innovative group of Buccaneering musicians & dancing wenches on a musical voyage to the Caribbean Islands of Trinidad, Jamaica, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. A specialty act based in Brisbane Australia, they feature trumpet, trombone, keys & steel timbale drums.

Their battery powered “Band on Wheels” speaker box PA derssed as a Pirate ship can blast Calypso songs all over the theme park or festival walkways.

Indian Bharat Band

Armed with a repertoire of Rajasthan Folk songs & Bollywood film songs, the Quartet (min) can rein act the Marriage party parade traditionally performed by brass band & amplified keyboard.

Costumed in sargent pepper style British Raj jackets & Rajasthan turbans, Fiesta Tropicale has performed at many Punjabi weddings @ Brisbane’s Sheraton & Convention Centre, as well as for Air India. (Michali has performed @ 100+ desert marriages in Rajasthan)

School Workshops

Primary & Secondary Schools

Fiesta Tropical Duo conduct 20 to 50 min school percussion & Latin music workshops.

Trio Fiesta Tropicale including Colombian dancer can also do dance workshops. Learn to dance: Salsa, Cha Cha, samba etc.

Cuba Brazil Carnaval

Roving / strolling /walk about/specialty act

The shocking excitement of this Cuban comparsa, & Brazilian Carnaval drums, with the colorful fiery dance routines makes this a floor show to remember.

It’s a show on its own roving the streets, or as part of a stage band evening performance, in a ballroom foyer, or rove off the stage amongst the audience.

Dancers may interact with audience as they rove between tables, & drummers can mount the stage to take up band stage instruments as the dance floor fills.

The bands bright music & colorful presentation lends itself to being great support for circus acts both on stage and especially roving.
